Abstract
Because motors in factories and homes are getting more complex, this can bring about issues such as heated engines, unbalanced voltages and wild vibrations which together can cost a lot and disrupt normal maintenance. The proposed system incorporates both software simulation (Proteus) and hardware validation, unlike conventional systems which only offer alertness but never test the reliability of a system before its implementation. It measures the parameters of the motor (temperature, current, voltage, speed, vibration) and uses logic (threshold-based and automated shutdown) in case the threshold is reached. Data is sent through Wi-Fi to cloud dashboards (Adafruit IO, Blynk) including real-time email/SMS notifications. Effectiveness is established by simulation and hardware testing and takes 1-5 seconds to shut down or notify. This preventive action protects motor components from damage. It utilizes measured data and powerful algorithms to effectively detect faults during the working cycle. Through this, both industry and households benefit from efficient motors that require less maintenance and are easier and safer to use. © 2025 IEEE.
