Opinion mining and MCDT based ranking and university recommendation system

Abstract

Opinion mining is an approach to natural language processing (NLP) that identi es the emotional tone behind a body of text. This is a popular way for organizations to determine and categorize opinions about a service or idea. It involves analyzing data set from di erent aspects to mine text for sentiment and subjective information which can be used to increase e ciency. Students are unaware of the best institution suited for them due to insu cient information. This paper explores recommendation of perfect universities which the students desire by using data of opinion mining through a Multi Criteria Decision Technique (MCDT) based ranking and university recommendation system to tackle university admission problems.
