dc.description.abstract"The increasing prevalence of gaming among Bangladeshi undergraduate students has raised concerns regarding its effects on academic performance and mental health. This thesis investigates the relationship between gaming habits and academic outcomes, focusing on prolonged gaming hours, stress, and life satisfaction. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach with SPSS for confirmatory analyses and SmartPLS for exploratory analyses, the study examines responses from 588 students. Results indicate that excessive gaming negatively impacts CGPA and increases stress, while factors such as sleep patterns and social engagement moderate these effects. Gender differences were observed, with males achieving higher CGPA despite fewer social challenges related to gaming. This research highlights the interplay between gaming behaviors, emotional well-being, and academic performance, offering evidence-based recommendations for balanced gaming practices to optimize educational and mental health outcomes."en_US
