dc.description.abstractThe Information Security Analyst Internship at ONE Bank PLC offers a comprehensive learning experience within the Information Technology division, with an emphasis on the challenging field of information security. This internship offers hands-on training regarding latest security protocols, risk management strategies, and compliance measures vital for safeguarding the bank’s not only physical but also digital assets. Throughout the internship, the intern will engage in various activities, including getting hands-on training, monitoring security systems using SIEM solutions, performing vulnerability assessments using industry-standard tools, as well as performing penetration testing in a controlled environment. The role aims deepen the intern’s knowledge of information security frameworks and regulatory standards, such as ISO/IEC 27001:2013, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR etc. Furthermore, the internship will enhance the intern’s skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication in a professional setting. By the end of the internship, the intern will acquire valuable insights into the operational and strategic dimensions of information security in the banking sector, which will ultimately prepare them for future roles in entry level cybersecurity and IT risk management jobs.en_US
