dc.description.abstractIn the 21st century, using technology in every sphere of life is not a luxury; instead, it is necessary in this digitalized world. In this circumstance, implementing technology in language learning and teaching is very important to go forwards with the digitalized world. Bangladesh has already started to include technology in the language teaching process. Many researches have addressed the use of technology in the educational field, but very few researches have been conducted focusing on technology integration in language skill teaching and learning. This paper focused on how the secondary level of Bangla medium schools addresses technology for language teaching. The researcher mainly aimed to explore the effectiveness and barriers of technology integration in secondary level language teaching. Qualitative research method adopted for this research paper. The study conducted among six teachers and fifteen students of secondary level from different districts of Bangladesh. The researcher took individual, pair, and group interviews with open-ended questions to deeply observe the whole phenomenon. After analyzing the whole phenomenon, the study found the true scenario of implementation of technology for language teaching and learning in secondary level of Bangla medium schools. The researcher observed some barriers in this process which are describes elaborately in the discussion part of the paper. Lastly, consulting the discussion part the researcher came up with some possible moderation that might help the stakeholders to overcome the obstacles and successful implementation of technology in language teaching.en_US
