Abstract

Wind is a self-custodial payments app that enables you to send and receive money instantly, directly, and without extra charges. The Wind team is focused on enhancing the user experience by reducing transfer time, fees (zero fees actually) and limitations on accounts and transfers. Wind aims to minimize the payment process for frequent money transferring individuals, freelancers, independent workers, contractors, remote employees, professionals and everyone you probably can think of. Working with the Wind team has helped me learn new things everyday. Since problem solving is the key to carrying out tasks related to software development, I was faced with a lot of new challenges and had to find my own solutions to many of them. I advise students to work on practical problems in class rather than just theory because professional jobs will be more enjoyable and simple for people like us who are still in school.
