dc.description.abstractThe paper shows that Bangladeshi ESL students learn vocabulary from online and which method is effective for them. Bangladeshi ESL students can learn vocabulary from visual/ multimodal methods and traditional methods. Vocabulary learning is an effective way to increase the opportunities for learning new and unknown words properly. This paper finds out how Bangladeshi ESL students learn vocabulary from online and the visual/ multimodal and traditional methods which method is effective for them. Vocabulary is a key to learn a language properly. It is the fundamental tool for communication and acquiring knowledge. Without learning or knowing the proper use of vocabulary, Learners can not understand the sentence construction. Vocabulary is a key to learn a language properly. They can not understand and have less concern about learning the meaning of the new or unknown words. The researcher collected some data from the ten participants. The research is based on qualitative data. This paper focuses on how ESL students learn vocabulary from visual/ multimodal and traditional methods and which method is effective for them.en_US
