Abstract
Climate change impacts on supply chain is a burning issue in the new era of global business. Sea fishes play a vital role in the livelihood and it becomes an essential source of food with nutrients for the people of Bangladesh. However, no remarkable research work has been found regarding climate change impacts on the production fluctuations in sea fish supply chain in Bangladesh. That’s why this research addresses the risks associated with climate change and proper risk management process of production fluctuations in sea fish supply chain. In this research, a case study has been carried out to demonstrate the entire supply chain of sea fishes from fishermen to final consumers through survey research techniques. After that, risks are identified from climate change perspective which are flood and cyclone through several data analysis techniques and consequently following identified risks are evaluated through the case study data analysis. Finally, risk treatment strategies have been selected with proper detailed guidelines which can be implemented according to proposed strategies additionally metrices associated with production fluctuations in sea fish supply chain have been proposed for continuous review and monitoring for proper risk management of sea fish supply chain.
