Abstract

This web application is a multi-platform and community-centric platform designed for sharing food recipes and DIY crafts. It features extended previews of recipes and DIY crafts, with ingredients, tools, product listings, cost breakdowns, and step-by-step instructions for users. The platform provides clear and straightforward price and product comparisons, adding multiple user-centric tools aimed at efficient ideation, saving time, and making things easier for both cooking and crafting enthusiasts. The application is built using HTML for structure, CSS for styling, JavaScript, and Material UI. Technologies include React.js for the frontend system and Express.js for the backend, which are modern, secure, and simple. For the database, MongoDB and Firebase are utilized.
