Abstract

Shadows are very important issues in three-dimensional computer graphics where interactive techniques are certainly needed to make the scene near about real life scene e.g. in virtual reality systems or games. Shadows can be defined as two categories based on their characteristics such as hard shadow and soft shadow. Various techniques have been implemented f or both of the techniques throughout the world. The basic idea is to render scene with shadows just as like the real scene as much as possible.
