dc.description.abstractIn the context of Bangladesh, English is used everywhere as a foreign language and the students must become efficient to compete in the job market. Though private and public universities in Bangladesh have already started using education technology in tertiary level EFL classrooms, the picture in the affiliated colleges of the National University is different. The study focuses on the effectiveness of education technology in EFL classrooms at tertiary level in affiliated colleges of National University as well as the issues of implementation. Data is collected through a mixed method and narrative and description analysis are used to analyze data. The study explains that technology tools are effective in developing student interaction and making lessons easy. Still, the study found some issues with implementing technology in EFL classrooms. In this way, the study has helped in understanding the current situation of EFL classrooms in affiliated colleges of the National University in Bangladesh as well as highlighted some recommendations.en_US
