| dc.description.abstract | Quality control is a vital issue for all organizations and especially for construction sector. NOBIDEP- Northern Bangladesh Integrated development Project is a JICA funded project, here assuring quality is one of the main focus point. But there seem some deviations in maintaining quality and those cannot be solved over night and which is mainly for lack in sourcing of materials, Evaluation of suppliers, monitoring (pre & post), Training/staffing, and procurement, audit/reviews, Transparency& management. It is rather a total quality issue. Total Quality Management is a new concept and widely used in private sector. The concept is not familiar in public sector but it is the solution that situation demands now in public sector. So the problems can be overcome by imparting Total Quality Management .which focus on continuous improvement and value adding at all functions. | en_US |
