| dc.description.abstract | Bangladesh, being a riverine country, waterways are an essential mode of communication. While traversing through these routes and communication portals, travelers are thrown with multiple hindrances and challenges including low water depth, low visual etc. which in turn creates issues and mishaps during navigation. This paper addresses the challenges faced during waterway communication for navigation in Bangladesh owing to shortage of visual aids and integrated logistics solutions. A solution is also proposed here to counter the lack of navigational aids, by developing a microcontroller based color-coded and user-friendly 3D mapping system. This designed system would assist in smoothening the navigation process at a low cost. The proposed system would use ultrasonic transceiver to perceive the underwater environment data with the assistance of a proposed mechanical module. The proposed system has multibranched scope and is expected to impact the technological field by improving the water transportation system. | |
