Abstract

The term classroom interaction generally refers to the interaction between the teacher and learners, and amongst the learners, in the classroom. The aim of the study is to investigate how classroom interaction helps the students to learn English language. Earlier studies on classroom interaction focused on the language use by the teacher and learner, the interaction generated, and their effect on language learning. For this research the researcher has used both the qualitative (interview, FGD and observation) and quantitative (questionnaire survey) methodologies. The research said that “Classroom interaction is essential for learning English language”. Interaction is one of the issues occurred in the classroom that have a vital role in learning English language in the context of Bangladesh.
