dc.description.abstract | The Government of Bangladesh has focused on improving the environmental situation of
Bangladesh for last many years. On that note promoting energy efficiency and environmental
sustainability is a key part of Bangladesh Government’s present agenda. ADB supports the
efforts of the government to make growth more inclusive and greener by improving connectivity,
promoting skills, improving financial markets, boosting energy efficiency and access, promoting
public-private partnerships, making cities more livable, improving the management of water
resources, and reducing flood risk. As a result it has been almost a decade that ADB is providing
fund to develop the Brick sector of Bangladesh so that the previous technology of burning coals
can be reduced with the help of new technologies. The Climate Change Company focuses on to
help new entrepreneurs to receive the fund so that the Brick sector can be developed. To do so
CCC follows the procedure of feasibility test. This report is solely focused on the feasibility
study process of CCC.
The first chapter of the report contains the introductory part of the report such as origin of the
report, the objectives of the report, methodology, scope of the report and the limitations as well.
The second chapter contains the organizational overview of Climate Change Company.
The third chapter is solely focused on the investment feasibility study process through the four
aspects such as market, technical, financial and legal, social and environmental aspects. The
analysis also includes the subproject designed by CCC for a client to get a better presentation of
the procedure of feasibility study which is mainly focused on the financial modeling.
The last chapter includes the findings from the study along with some recommendations to
improve the service system of Climate Change Company. Lastly, there is a conclusion written on
how the Brick Sector Development is important for Bangladesh and also how the Climate
Change Company can be progressed through this. | en_US |
