dc.description.abstractE-health has tremendous potential to ensure healthcare quality, accessibility and affordability in developing countries. Developing countries gradually adopted the new technologies particularly with regards to the health care services. Telemedicine is a way to provide medical services at community level. Telemedicine also has the potential to greatly improve the quality of health care services. It also develops the accessibility of health care system. As a result, both the quality and accessibility of improved health care systems is available for patients at low cost. This study explores and describes the infrastructure of current health care system of some developing countries. It also discussed about the future potential of Information and communication Technology (ICT). Furthermore, a set of guidelines of future perspective has been provided to aid the implementation of e-health in developing countries.en_US
