dc.description.abstractPostmodernism is one of the most discussed topics in contemporary world. This term has influenced authors so that they choose it as their subject of writing. Mainly this paper aims to discuss themes and techniques, of the texts, Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut, The Crying of Lot 49 by Thomas Pynchon and disgrace by John Maxwell Coetzee, in the light of postmodernism. This paper will also discuss postmodernism, features and postmodern effect in human life in contemporary time. It will further look at science, technologies, paranoid society and social context of the texts. Thus this paper will present a thematic analysis of the novels.en_US
