dc.description.abstract | This paper proposes a data acquisition (DAQ) system for the bio signals which is based on the use of biosensors, signal processing unit, data acquisition card and computing device. The methodologies of developing a biomedical experimental set up for measurement, monitoring, recording bio-signal during animal testing in laboratory is presented. The device will be responsible for getting data through 16 channels. The channels will be connected with the biosensors through which the signals of different biological state (e.g. Electrocardiograph, Blood pressure etc.) of human or animal body will be retrieved. Obtaining the signals from biosensors data acquisition process will be done in a signal processing system and that will convert the resulting samples into numeric values which can be manipulated by the software. The signal data acquisition processing will be accomplished on Hard Real-Time Linux (RT-Linux) environment which will be presented through Graphical User Interface (GUI) developed in non RT-Linux environment. Linking between hard real time and non real time Linux will be done through Inter Process Communication (IPC) between two kernels. | en_US |
