With the clear mission to provide efficient banking services and to contribute socio-economic development of the country, Mercantile Bank Ltd emerged as a new commercial bank and inaugurated its operation on 2nd June, 1999. The bank stood 86 branches all over the country upto 2012. There are 30 sponsors involved in creating Mercantile Bank Limited. The sponsors of the bank have a long heritage of trade, commerce and industry. They are highly regarded for their entrepreneurial competence. The one of principle target of MBL is to make credits available to the poor people & their activities are aimed at multifaceted growth where people from all economic strata will enjoy the benefits of better living standard, dignity of labor and self-worth. This report is basis on ‘Service Marketing of Mercantile Bank Limited, Elephant Road Branch, Dhaka’ which is prepared from experience of working at Mercantile Bank Limited. The main target of employees of the bank is to give proper service to the client. For them customer satisfaction is important. They think that interest rate is not important for client. How clients are getting their service is important for them. They believe in service marketing. They try to fulfil the expectations of customer’s. This report is based on customer’s point of view how they feel about the service quality of Mercantile Bank Limited, Elephant Road Branch.
