Various aspects of health care services in Bangladesh, especially in the public sector, are not well documented. Based on a survey, this paper attempts to gain insights into the health care area from the perspectives of hospital patients. These insights provide a perspective that is different from that of health care providers; they also have implications for health policy.en_US
