Blindness is a severe disease that limits a person’s ability to navigate their surroundings properly. Usually using a crane has been the only solution for blind people so far, which is a solution not suitable to detect objects. In our thesis we will be analyzing image processing and computer science to come up with the most practical solution to encounter this situation. We will be using various algorithms to determine which one allows the best navigation system with best efficiency at the least expense. The analysis will also provide audio feedback to round off a complete autonomous system that can be easily used by a visually impaired person.en_US
