dc.description.abstract | With the increasing of globalization, outsourcing as a strategic tool has attracted much attention in recent years. Many organizations chose outsourcing as a tool of competitive advantage. Outsourcing is a complex process and improper strategy pathway can create formidable barriers against firm performance. Employing the core competency theory, this paper systematically investigates the firm outsourcing strategy design, operation model and impact on company performance. It also makes a comprehensive analysis on the relationship between core competency and outsourcing. This study investigates factors that influence the make or buy decision of a local public limited company . The research, more specifically examines the core competence thinking for decision making in relation with outsourcing as strategic decision taken by the top management of the company. | en_US |
