The banking sector is consistently regarded as one of the most essential parts to the economy's ability to function. A few businesspeople in Bangladesh started private commercial banks as a result of the need for better banking services compared to public banks. Following in the footsteps of the first generation of commercial banks, Bangladesh presently has 58 public and private commercial banks. Comparing Commercial Banks to other service-oriented organizations, their impact on the development of our economy is greater. Already, a significant section of our banking industry is occupied by private commercial banks.
This report is based on the General Banking Department of Bank Asia Limited. The General Banking department handles activities related to accounts, cash, bills and clearing, remittance, and pay order. This department is also crucial as it provides customers’ high-quality service. The hardest and most vital department at a bank is cash handling. This part establishes the link between the bank and the customer, collects the customer's bills, and transfers the customer's funds from one bank to another.
