An industry which always celebrates production of jute and traditional textile in a grand gesture. Textile industry plays a very critical role in our country’s economy with their historical and deep-rooted craftsmanship showcasing their cultural customs textile industry managed to create a strong foothold not only on domestic but along with global platform; creating an identity for itself as well as our country. However, as time progressed, due to negligence, inadequate exposures and communal carelessness these heritages are starting to fade away at a rapid pace. Artisans of jute and textiles have passed down their knowledge and skills through generations, nevertheless there were times when these skills were supported by aristocracy but in the era of technological advancements such precious crafts and skills have facing decline. With time holding on such rich cultural heritage of our nation is becoming a challenge with economic pressure and disinterest of rural origins who are involved are causing downfall for the industry. The project's purpose is to address these issues by creating a space to conserve the legacy of jute, known as the Golden fiber from earlier eras, representing national tradition and inspiring future generations to appreciate and uphold the cultural connections that have been lost. | en_US |
