This study explores the challenges of Bangladeshi students while studying abroad. It also focuses on the reasons to choose abroad for higher studies and how Bangladeshi students overcome their challenges. Besides, the qualitative phenomenological approach has been adopted for this study where snowball technique helped the researcher to select Bangladeshi higher-level students studying abroad. The researcher has designed a conceptual framework based on Fakunle’s (2021) theoretical framework- “International students’ rationales for studying abroad”. All the data were collected through one-to-one interviews where participants joined the interviews online and shared the challenges they faced while studying abroad. All of the participants' interviews were conducted online to complete the data collection process, and a qualitative analysis of the transcripts revealed that every Bangladeshi student faced challenges while studying abroad. Some of the challenges that Bangladeshi students faced while studying abroad were academic challenges, language barriers, economic issues, and so on. Side by side, they faced challenges in their daily lives to adapt to the new environment. The findings of this study are very important because they will help future students, parents, and future teachers to know about the challenges that Bangladeshi students faced while studying abroad as well as how this study’s students overcame their challenges.en_US
