dc.description.abstract | Marriage is an important event in every Bengali household as in this event the family gets to
express their identity in the society by inviting every relative, friend, and neighbors. It has
always been a grand event for every family whenever their children get married. But recently it
has been observed that people are very fond of intimate and small programs with only close
relatives and friends. This paper, with the help of primary and secondary data, will try to explore
the reasons behind such changes in societal tradition and understand how society is constantly
changing with times due to such societal factors. | en_US |
