This study examined the linguistic dynamics of the Bihari population in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Using a qualitative method, it focused on the variables affecting language shift and the community’s response to linguistic changes. Results show the Bihari population’s complicated linguistic context where they have been compelled adapt to language changes for social and economic survival. The study also explored the linguistic patterns between generations, the difficulties people encounter outside of the camps, and community-based educational possibilities.en_US
