dc.description.abstractIn this study, the most common assay type for the formulations in British Pharmacopoeia (BP. 2013 edition) monographs was determined. UV-vis spectroscopy, Reverse phase chromatography, Normal phase chromatography, Acid-base titration and non-aqueous titration were found to be the most commonly recommended assay types. Also, some other analytical methods like complexometric titration, redox titration, UV-vis spectroscopy, biological assay have been recommended. Construction of this database will be helpful for educational purposes and future method development.en_US
