The modern world has been urged to develop alternative methods of energy generation as a means of a solution due to the rise in energy demand and the depletion of non-renewable resources. The future will be secure if the shift to renewable energy sources for electricity consumption occurs efficiently and promptly. One of the renewable power generations the paper suggests is piezoelectric power generation using piezoelectric disks. Piezoelectric disks are such a device that converts mechanical energy into electrical energy. This paper presents an innovative approach to harnessing mechanical energy from our usual surrounding motion and converting it into electrical power for powering surveillance systems in ports. The piezo generates AC voltage. Subsequently, the AC voltage is transformed to DC voltage via a rectifier. After that the energy is stored in a battery, facilitating the conversion from DC to AC through an inverter to supply power to the surveillance system.en_US
