This final year design project is submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 2023.en_US
Cataloged from PDF version of final year design project.
Includes bibliographical references (pages 87-88).
The aim of our project is to co generate green energy with crops using the same land to ensure bilateral use of land along with automating the process of irrigation to lessen the effort of farmers and to monitor and the parameter of the soil to ensure the maximum crops. In this project we grow yield under solar panels (simulated using tin sheets) to observe the result of shading effect on crops and while comparing we get a little less yield under the shaded region whose amount was satisfactory. We created this project to help the nation become self-sufficient in the production of electricity and sought to switch to clean energy in order to reduce harmful emissions. The challenge of acquiring this project is the high initial cost. Smart Agrivoltaic systems are a promising technology with the potential to provide many benefits. However, more research and development is needed to overcome some of the challenges associated with this technology.en_US
