dc.description.abstract | This report aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the digital transformation efforts of
Mercantile Bank Limited (MBL) and their impact on the bank's performance and customers.
The results indicate that MBL has made remarkable strides in its digital transformation
journey by implementing various digital offerings, such as i-banking, MBL Rainbow, and
online banking. These initiatives have resulted in increased customer satisfaction, improved
operational efficiency, and reduced costs. However, the report highlights the challenges faced
by MBL, including the need for more significant investments in IT infrastructure and
addressing privacy concerns. The report concludes that MBL has made progress in its digital
transformation journey, but there is still significant room for improvement. To remain
competitive, MBL must continue to invest in technology and enhance its digital capabilities.
Furthermore, the report provides recommendations for MBL and other banks planning to
embark on a digital transformation journey. | en_US |
