dc.description.abstractArtificial intelligence (AI) is an influential area of computational science which can significantly transform medical practice and healthcare delivery. There are many cases where AI can conduct healthcare tasks better than humans. This review article outlines latest development in the implementation of artificial intelligence in the health sector and different diseases like cancer, cardiac disease, and ophthalmic disease, as well as its challenges and future possible advancements of AI-augmented healthcare systems. The primary application categories are diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations, patient involvement and adherence, and administrative services.en_US
