Information and Communication Technology (ICT) enhances learning and teaching. With the recent Corona Virus spread all over the world, communication and sharing contents through internet has become the need of the day. This study focuses on the manifestation of formal education and learning through the use of internet in Bangladesh. The results from the study show the classes and learning on virtual platforms and the ongoing practice have not reached the level of appreciation. The scenario of extensive implementation of online-based learning and related practices is not widespread yet. Though the necessary tools for online-based learning and teaching are affordable to most of the students, the motivation of the learners are not up to the mark. Results also suggest that there are positive attitudes among the participants who have comfortably attended and performed in online-based classes. They believe such classes can be arranged regularly along with the face to face classes. Possible reasons and the implications of the findings along with the manner the study carried out have been elaborated and discussed on the main paper.en_US
