dc.description.abstract | This scholarly work aims to present an innovative Quadcopter Drone Crop Monitoring System that addresses the challenges faced by farmers in monitoring and managing their crops. The system integrates quadcopter drones, remote sensing devices, and data analytics software to provide detailed data on crop health, enabling farmers to make informed decisions on the various crop (leaf) diseases. The Quadcopter Drone Crop Monitoring System utilizes a state- of-the-art quadcopter drone equipped with a high-resolution camera. Essentially such a device would capture detailed images of crops from numerous angles, which are then transmitted to a ground station. The data is then processed using advanced algorithms (CNN) that generate detailed reports on crop diseases. The Quadcopter Drone Crop Monitoring System offers several advantages over traditional crop monitoring methods, including faster and more accurate data collection, reduced labor costs, and improved crop management practices. The data on crop (leaf) diseases enable farmers to make timely and informed decisions, leading to improved yields, reduced costs, and increased sustainability. The Quadcopter Drone Crop Monitoring System is an innovative solution to modernize agriculture and optimize crop production in a sustainable manner. This technology-driven solution has the potential to transform the agricultural sector by providing farmers with an efficient and effective tool for monitoring and managing their crops. It is envisioned that this technology will lead to a more sustainable and profitable future for the agricultural industry. | en_US |
