Women in Bangladesh is endangered and endemic. For over centuries male domination and
the associated female inferiority pervade all sections of society, irrespective of ethnicity,
religion or socio-economic status in our country. Sport can act as a wonderful and powerful
platform which can help the girls and women of our country in the betterment of their health,
wellbeing, selfesteem and education. Hence the government of Bangladesh has taken initiatives
to build women sports centers in every division beside many other women empowerment
programmes.
This particular paper will discuss about the different aspects of sports, its credibility in human
life, women in sports and Bangladeshi women’s achievement in the field, context studies of
the site area and attempted design solution on the basis of these studies.
