dc.description.abstractDestitute children, who represent the lowest level of the social hierarchy comprises of a major portion of our population. These poverty-stricken children hold great potential to be an asset, yet due to negligence they take the shelter of criminal activities in order to survive. Providing a safe place that ensures a favourable environment physical and psychological growth of the children can bring a new ray of hope for a brighter future. This paper explores the possibilities of the psychological effects and the positive health impacts a well-designed interactive space can bring for the children to overcome their trauma and struggles to survive. Secured environment with peaceful ambience created through synergistic interaction of outdoor and indoor spaces can help the children achieve a promising future.en_US
