dc.description.abstractThis internship report titled "Sourcing Strategies in a Pandemic: An Analysis of LS Fashion's Import of Garment Fabrics from China during COVID-19" aims to examine the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on LS Fashion's import of garment fabrics from China. The report provides an in-depth analysis of the challenges faced by the company, its response to the pandemic, and the changes in consumer behavior that have occurred. The report also offers suggestions for alternative sourcing strategies and measures to mitigate the risk of future disruptions, and provides insights into the garments industry in Bangladesh. The research identified several challenges faced by LS Fashion, such as supply chain disruptions, changes in consumer behavior, and an increase in competition. The company had to adapt its sourcing strategies, logistics and inventory management, and marketing efforts to overcome these challenges.
