Kash is a subsidiary of BRAC Bank Limited that was launched in 2010 through a joint venture between Bangladesh and London's Money in Motion. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the International Finance Corporation are both shareholders in the company. bKash has pledged to increase the number of individuals with access to financial services, thereby achieving the goal of financial inclusion for the greatest number of Bangladeshis by 2022. Due to the fact that bKash is an app-based financial services provider, its information system is crucial to the company's success. As just one-third of the population uses bKash, the company processes reams of data every day, and transactions involving billions of rupees occur daily. A corporation such as bKash must have a reliable information and database system in order to function effectively. Every second, bKash is accessible due to the effective operation of information systems.en_US
