Bandar bazaar, Sylhet's principal business sector has grown in an unplanned and haphazard manner, becoming exceedingly crowded. Because of fast urbanization and different socioeconomic developments, this area expanded without any planning or supervision from the start. While, as expected, the central city area generates a large commercial hub that is always bustling with various commercial and public-private official operations. Although the planning process of this commercial hub does not support the current existing condition, The paper aims to identify the actors responsible for this situation and revitalize this area in order to respond more effectively to rapid urban growth and to ensure a better urban environment for business people, employers, and residents.
