My research paper is based on 1984, it is one of the masterpieces by George Orwell which represents the conditioned and controlled life of the Oceania people. In the mid-20th century, it is first published and gives humans a warning about how their future is going to be in a dystopian society. The fundamental aim of my research is to do a close reading of the incidents that have been narrated in 1984 and to compare those with the context of the usage of modern technology. In addition, the class struggle of this novel is discussed in the light of Marxist criticism, demonstrating the exploitation of general citizens in terms of rules and regulations described in 1984. Moreover, this research paper gives reference to the Digital Security Act 2018 of contemporary Bangladesh which is similar to the surveillance mechanism used in Oceania. The first and foremost goal of this study is to verify the various veracities of Orwell's novel and to uncover the impact of the Digital Security Acts on general people in the modern world including Bangladeshen_US
