dc.description.abstract | Juveniles are the resource for building and moving for any nation of the world but juvenile
delinquency become an obstacle towards the development of both global and national. The
immense rise of juvenile delinquency has been a major concern for Bangladesh and every year
the number increases and becoming a trouble for the development of our youth both physical
and emotional. Our youth population are engaging in these illegal and anti-social activities
because of many reasons which are related to their family and society. But the main factor is
that juveniles are in a hazardous situation because of lack ins in their reformation and
rehabilitation. There are a few juvenile development Centre for correcting the juvenile
delinquents but they are failed to help them rather make them more violent and they return
within a couple of years. It because of lack of facilities, guidance, love and emendation rather
tortures them and become a punishment Centre. The project “Nobinaloy”- An institute of
emendation and training for juveniles, Joypurhat aims to work on both physical and emotional
need of the juvenile delinquents and rehabilitate the through a process and give them back to
society and family where they belong. Juveniles may do something against law but they are
human too so this institute attempts to change their mentality and help them to understand the
consequences of crimes through education, recreation and training. So that they grow, explore,
enhance, engage, creative, earn and interact gradually with community. Overall, ensuring a
youth friendly environment according to their psychological needs through different activities
and reshape themselves. | en_US |
