In a modern classroom the use of technologies is quite common and technology is used quite frequently to enhance students’ language skills. Technology is quite helpful for the teachers to use various techniques in teaching. Technology can have an impact on developing all four language skills-i.e., reading, writing, speaking and listening. This study is concerned with how technology helps learners to improve their writings. Various applications have been designed to develop students’ writing skills. These applications help to develop not only a learner's grammatical and vocabulary knowledge but to develop overall writing skills. This study was conducted in an English medium school to find out to what extent using technologies help learners to develop their writing skills. Thus, students’ writing skills were assessed at the beginning of the study, then teaching them with the use of technology, their language skills were tested towards the end of this study. The result shows that the use of technology help students to improve their writing skills. However, rather than concerning nature of improvement the study tries to explore which way technology helps learners to improve their writings.en_US
