The internship program is very helpful to bridge the gap between the theoretical knowledge and real life experience as part of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program. This internship report has been designed to have a practical experience through the theoretical understanding. I have done my three months internship in BRAC Bank Ltd in Regulatory & Internal Control Department (SME Audit).
The Banks take some reasonable steps in their Internal Audit & Inspection activities. They perform the audit activity, inspection, reporting, discussion with respective department, collect response, made recommendation and submit report to board. All the parts are done very carefully so that no undesirable events occur which may hamper the bank as a whole. As well as whenever they serve their activities there should be some new strategies so that they can conduct the audit & Inspection activities without any hazard.
This report includes overview of the organization, BRAC bank Limited, where I had completed my internship program. Here I tried to focus on the Bank‟s history, its Core Objective, Mission, Vision and Culture, major Departments and the Methodology of the report. How the data have been collected, how the study has been conducted. Then comes the most vital part of this report, where I have given my concentration. Here I focused on the SME Products, the terms and conditions of giving SME loan that an auditor needs to check, Enterprise Selection Criteria and Documentation. With limited knowledge and experience I tried my best to make this report as much understandable as possible and translated the real world experience into a document.
