dc.description.abstractDaraz Bangladesh Ltd established itself as one of the top e-commerce marketplaces in Bangladesh. With its lead in emerging South Asian markets and support from Alibaba Group, the e-commerce retailer Daraz expects to continue doubling retail volume over the next five years. Daraz currently provides its services from its dynamic website and mobile app. Daraz has the largest and fastest last-mile delivery system that commits the faster delivery to customer doorstep. Being the top e-commerce marketplace Daraz has empowered so many small businesses and owners to grow together. Daraz’s management practices hold themselves at the summit of success. By utilising social media platforms Daraz has established the largest follower base on Facebook. They are doing both organic and paid marketing to increase brand awareness and grow the business. Daraz focuses on modern technology to provide the best support to customers. To aim that, Daraz introduced AI-based support and live chat to accelerate the issue resolution time. Daraz is constantly making its services better to facilitate its customers by introducing Fan meetups, sellers meetups and other activities to communicate with the customers. The Bangladeshi e-commerce industry is booming and it will grow rapidly in the next few years so there is an opportunity for Daraz to hold the leadership position. Daraz needs to focus on organic marketing more to properly utilise its social media audience base. To conclude, Daraz is serving millions of customers in Bangladesh, during the covid-19 situation keeping up the operation and delivering to customers are really difficult but they are making sure the customers are getting a happy shopping experience.en_US
