dc.description.abstract | Creative nonfiction is often called the "fourth genre" after prose, poetry and drama. It is a new genre that often causes confusion because the name sounds like an oxymoron. Indeed, it deals with facts and real events, but uses the tools of the fiction writer and poet. My thesis discusses how this genre evolved, how people have tried to define it, as well as the technical and ethical issues involved. The second section of my thesis is a series of creative nonfiction pieces. | en_US |
