Shohoz Limited has developed a mobile app to provide di erent kinds of services to the people of Bangladesh. There are several di erent services, all available in just one single app. Some of the services are ride sharing, food delivery, truck rentals, ticket booking, medical consultation and so on. Food related businesses and ventures have in most cases been very successful in Dhaka. On top of that, after the Covid-19 outbreak, online food delivery has become an everyday necessity for a majority of Dhaka's population. Taking this opportunity, Shohoz Limited decided to improve on their food app to capture the market as much as possible. I was designated as a quality assurance engineer intern under the `Food' project of Shohoz Limited. My six month long internship has taught me a lot of things that could only be learnt through actual work experience. Software testing was quite fun for me, and along the way I learnt how to use Postman and test APIs through it; how to make test cases, execute them, then le a report, how to communicate the test cases and bugs that I found back to the dev team, how to improve on the codes that are present to make the feature more favorable or what possible steps could be taken to remove a bug, and nally I have also learnt how to run automated tests. The rst 2 weeks were quite easy as my supervisor was just showing me around and taught me the basics of testing and the requirements to start testing. As time went by, the work loaded slowly increased, I learnt more, I met more people and got to work on many di erent parts of Shohoz Food. Regardless of how di cult my work became, I enjoyed it and appreciated the idea that I could continue to learn new things while working. If anyone ever asks me, I will ten out of ten recommend internships; as exhausting as they may be, you learn a lot of new things and along with that get hands on experience.en_US
