The media sector has undergone radical changes and transformations significantly over the past years. Digital journalism is a result of a radical transformation of news-making due to current global developments. The conventional perception of journalism as a discipline has shifted dramatically, largely because the modern media landscape has created new opportunities but also challenges associated with professional practice. This paper aims to provide a theoretical perspective on digital of online journalism. At the same time, the chapters address different types of online-based journalistic output and professional standards imposed on online news-making journalists, taking into account the latest developments in the creation of digital communication modes. The first chapter includes a brief history of media, news & DBC. The second chapter talks about my work duties and experience. In the third chapter, I have described online news portals in general and the fourth chapter explains how those online portals function through digital journalism. Moreover, the fifth chapter includes my observation of the influence of mass media. The sixth chapter of this paper relates my academic learnings with my internship experience & the last chapter concludes the paper with my insight into the whole matter. This paper goes beyond from a basic internship report to research on digital journalism comparing general theory of digital journalism and realistic understanding of digital journalism which is an ongoing, innovative, truly professional and widely executed practice.en_US
