Safe and independent navigation in an unfamiliar environment is a difficult task for visually impaired individuals. Existing systems are unusable because these systems are not user-friendly and also expensive. The objective of this paper is to use cloud services and path smoothing techniques to help visually impaired persons so that they can travel more efficiently and independently. For the detection of accurate and smooth paths, it is necessary to collect some path data and then compare them with one another using cloud services. Also, for a smoother path, a good path smoother algorithm is needed. For our model, we have collected path data using app called “MapMyRun”. In this paper, we are going to introduce a model for blind navigation where we used our own algorithm for path smoothing and obstacle detection.en_US
