item has already been approved yet it faces some difficulties in printing complex structure.
These obstacles can be overcome by 4D printing. Its additional dimension opens new
possibilities for personalized medicine. In this review, the possibilities of 3D and 4D printing
technology for developing personalized medicine is discussed along with future direction of
this research field.
