The genre of autobiography or memoir has always been very popular among readers because of the instinctive interest of human beings to feel connected to the lives of others. The memoirs of great people have always inspired others. Being a student of literature, I always wished to know how the writers we love became the people they are and what had influenced the literature they produced. Therefore, in this paper, I will look into the memoirs of different writers and trace the development of their artistic minds through the recollection of their memories. I will also look into the different features of memoirs to substantiate their authenticity. Thus, in this paper, I will use the memories of the writers as tools to observe the growth of an artist's mind.en_US
